The Canadian-Muslim Vote (TCMV) is a national, non-partisan, non-profit, grassroots, charitable organization aiming to increase civic engagement and education within the Muslim community.
Established in 2015, TCMV is dedicated to educating and empowering Canadian Muslims, encouraging active participation and the use of their voices in Canadian politics. We strive to foster a more informed, engaged, and empowered Muslim community, contributing positively to Canada’s democracy.
TCMV Does Not:
- Support any political party
- Tell you who to vote for
- Lobby
- Preach religion
- Discriminate (culture, ethnicity, religion or religious sect)

The Civic Leadership Institute
In 2023, TCMV established the Civic Leadership Institute to address the underrepresentation of Canadian-Muslims in politics. Our institute encompasses a diverse range of programs and initiatives designed to equip and empower emerging leaders with the skills and knowledge needed to represent the Muslim community in the political landscape.

Through thought-provoking case studies, interactive workshops, and insightful conversations with seasoned political experts, policymakers, and politicians, we provided fellows with a comprehensive understanding of the Canadian political process from start to finish.

Get Out The Vote (GOTV)
TCMV has successfully led 5 GOTV campaigns, including three national campaigns for the federal elections, and two provincial campaigns for the Ontario provincial elections. Our objective is clear: to empower as many Muslim voters as possible cast an informed ballot.
Through a combination of party platform summaries, interviews with politicians, detailed voting information, and active engagement at community events, we have consistently reminded everyone that their voice matters. At TCMV, we believe in the transformative power of each vote and are dedicated to ensuring that every voice is heard.
